Students must use critical thinking skills to figure out what the clue is telling them to eliminate from the list of possibilities. There are five clues to solve the mystery:

• Clue 1: Continuing Patterns
• Clue 2: Division (Interpret Remainders)
• Clue 3: Addition & Subtraction Algorithms
• Clue 4: Multiplication (Mixed facts between 1-12)
• Clue 5: Complete the Equation (Fill in the missing addition, subtraction, or multiplication number)
