For this month's free writing prompt I wanted to assign something that would challenge students to develop a mystery story. This task can easily be adapted for various writing abilities. • How does reading the letter make you feel?
• Why do you think this mysterious letter was sent to you?
• What does this mean for the next part of your story?

Story Challenge: Develop a mystery story based on this letter and your journey to discovering who sent the note and why.
