I've just finished uploading a new set of 'What's the Math Question?' prompt cards (free to download in my shop). This new set has a back to school theme, making it an ideal activity to do if you are about to start a new school year.
These math prompt cards would traditionally be printed and laminated to use in the classroom. However, this year, some of you may be teaching your class online! So, in this post, I'll outline a suggestion as to how you can still use these math prompt cards for distance teaching.

Think back to your days at school. What lessons stick in your mind? It most likely isn’t the lesson where you read from a textbook. More than likely enough, it is something fun or practical that sticks in your mind. Maybe it was with your favourite teacher as they were funny or explained things very clearly. Or maybe it is a memory of something that was taught in a different way. When planning lessons, as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life. Follow these tips to help ensure your pupils remember your lessons.
Since school is about to be back in session (depending on which part of the world you are), I thought it would be a great time to share some positive teaching mantras to help with overcoming those 'tougher' days. Sometimes, all you need is a mental reminder or saying to get you through the challenging situation.
