Adventure, danger, escape and mystery await with this month's free writing activity! If you are in need of a quick writing activity to assign to your students in the classroom or virtually, download the free worksheet in this post and you have a task ready-to-go! Turn it into a writing competition or encourage students to share their creations with the class. I've added some writing challenges to help develop some interesting narratives.

I've recently released a short video clip to help introduce your students to Math Mysteries. If it is their first time completing a math mystery, especially via online distance learning, it might be a little daunting. I hope this video helps assist you in your instruction when assigning a math mystery in the classroom or online. You can view and download the video free within this post.
I've just finished uploading a new set of 'What's the Math Question?' prompt cards (free to download in my shop). This new set has a back to school theme, making it an ideal activity to do if you are about to start a new school year.
These math prompt cards would traditionally be printed and laminated to use in the classroom. However, this year, some of you may be teaching your class online! So, in this post, I'll outline a suggestion as to how you can still use these math prompt cards for distance teaching. |
