3 Fun Rounding Games to Play online

If you are looking for ways to add some fun to practicing rounding numbers, then  check out these fun and free online rounding games. Make the games a part of your math centers if you have iPads, tablets, or computers available (with Internet access), or encourage to play at home to get some extra rounding math practice in. 

1. Rounding Numbers Pirate

This pirate rounding game is simple to play with a cute reward element. 

To find the hidden treasure, the player must answer ALL questions correctly.
 
This game is best suited for 4th graders:  - CCSS 4.NBT.3
Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.

2. Bike Racing Math Rounding

Colorful and fast, students must round numbers to pick up speed and win the race! There are three modes of difficulty available, making it an easy way to differentiate if needed. 

The quicker a correct answer is chosen the more speed the player's bike gains.

3. Half-court Rounding

A fun basketball themed rounding game that gives the option to round with or without decimals. 

When playing, the game will ask you to select a shot difficulty. The closer to the net the player selects, the harder the rounding question will be. However, the 'harder' shot the player chooses, if the rounding answer is correct, the higher chance they have of scoring the goal!

What's a math mystery?

• All of the math mystery packets in my range are print and go!
  
• The story case file must be read first (or video hook watched).
  
• The list of possibilities provides information that students will need to refer to as they discover clues. 
• There are five clues to discover (if you choose not to do the clues in the order I have arranged them in, please keep the possibilities list away until all five clues are unlocked by the power of math!) 
• The clues will hint as to what should or perhaps shouldn't be crossed off the list. These can get tricky sometimes! 
• As students use their powers of deduction, only one possibility should remain after all five clues are revealed. The last possibility remaining (if done correctly) is the solution to the case!
• Printable awards are provided in each packet to give to your brilliant math detectives for solving the case.
