With Halloween just around the corner, some of you may be searching for an activity that will keep your kids engaged and learning during what can be a crazy time of year. If you find it difficult to keep your kids on task and interested in the spooky season, some of the resources I've rounded-up in this post might help keep them doing something educationally productive, and more importantly, save your sanity! Students may be able to read a chapter or section of a book on their own, but are they really comprehending what is being said? Teachers must learn to recognize the answer to that question and, in turn, support students' comprehension of written material. Of course, that's easier said than done.
