Each clue focuses on key math concepts, including:
- The Number Systems - Greatest Common Factor (GCF), Least Common Multiple (LCM), Absolute value, operations with positive and negative integers, comparing integers
- Operations - Long division with 2/3-digit divisors, add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit decimals
- Exponents - evaluate numerical expressions involving whole-number exponents (whole and decimal bases), comparing whole numbers and decimals
- Word Problems - mixed operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide), unit rates, percents, and decimals included
- Coordinates - Locate objects on a coordinate plane (Four quadrant)
- Geometry - area of a parallelogram, triangle, trapezoid, rhombus and a compound figure; volume of a cube and rectangular prism with decimal lengths; circumference of a circle; surface area of a rectangular prism, cube, triangular prism, and a square pyramid.
- Statistics & Box Plots - Calculate the mean, median, mode, and range from a data set of numbers. Interpret a box and whisker plot to answer questions about the data.
- Expressions & Equations - Evaluate variable expressions (word problems), simplify expressions using the distributive property, solve one-step equations, find a variable using two-variable equations
- Ratios & Rates - Word Problem: write a ratio, equivalent ratios, ratio and rate word problem
- Percents - Find the total given the part and percent, percent of a whole number, convert a decimal and a fraction to a percent.
