Frequently Asked Questions & Technical Tips

  • How long will it take?

Pacing depends on your students’ reading levels. You can run it as an intensive 45–60 minute escape challenge or pace it out by completing one clue per day throughout the week.

  • Pausing the Game:

The browser tab must stay open to hold progress. Closing the tab will reset the student back to the beginning of that specific clue.

  • Troubleshooting:

If a clue link does not load properly, ensure cookies are enabled, clear your browser cache, or open the link in Google Chrome. For school-managed Chromebooks, ensure external game links are permitted by your network administrator.

Unlike standard worksheets, these interactive digital summer reading passages include self-checking clues and video hooks to keep students motivated.
