Grab your hard hat and get ready to build some math skills! Understanding Fact Families is the secret to mastering multiplication and division. Once a student understands that multiplication and division are opposites (inverse operations), they instantly double their math fact fluency!

In this game, the crane lowers a steel beam holding three related numbers (for example: 4, 5, and 20). Your job as the site manager is to use those three numbers to build four different math equations.

How to Play:

1. Select Your Blueprint: Use the dropdown menu to choose your level. Level 1 starts with basic 2s, 5s, and 10s, while Level 4 mixes up the times tables all the way to 12!

2. Inspect the Beam: Look at the three numbers attached to the steel beam.

3. Build Your Equations: Use the empty boxes below to create your fact family. You need to write two multiplication sentences and two division sentences using ONLY the numbers on the beam. (Hint: For division, the biggest number always goes first!)

4. Lock the Beam! Once all four equations are filled out correctly, hit the “LOCK BEAM” button to secure the steel into the skyscraper.

The Foreman’s Reward System: Every time you complete a fact family, you lock a steel beam into the building! Keep constructing to upgrade your site and unlock all 10 heavy-duty vehicles and tools.
