Welcome to The Lemonade Stand! 🍋 Summer is here, and thirsty customers are lining up! Understanding Money Math is one of the most important real-world skills we teach in elementary school. It requires students to hold running totals in their heads while skip counting by non-standard numbers like 5, 10, and 25.

In this game, students must read the target cost and click the digital coins to build the exact total on the counter.

How to Play:

1. Select Your Menu: Use the dropdown menu to choose your math level. Level 1 starts with basic coin counting under 50¢. Level 3 introduces whole dollar bills, and Level 4 challenges students to act as the cashier and make change from $1.00!

2. Read the Order: Look at the customer’s prompt and the target cost in the yellow box.

3. Count the Coins: Click the interactive buttons for pennies (1¢), nickels (5¢), dimes (10¢), quarters (25¢), and dollar bills ($1) to add them to your total. (Made a mistake? Just hit the “Clear” button to start over!)

4. Serve! Once the amount “On Counter” matches the target cost, hit “SERVE!” to pass the lemonade to the customer!
