Healthy Teacher Brownie Bliss Balls

The recipe for these healthy brownie bliss balls is easy to make, can be made in advance, and can be kept in your bag!  Everyone might enjoy them in the teacher lounge too if you dare to share.

What you will need…

EQUIPMENT
– Food processor
– Spoon
– Tray

INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup of almond meal
– 10 Medjool dates (pitted)
– 1/2 a cup of Quinoa Puffs
– 1 cup of desiccated coconut
– 2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter (No added sugar or salt)
– 2 Tablespoons of Raw Cacao Powder
– 2 Tablespoons of organic rice malt syrup

Optional extras for a boost:
– Cacao Nibs
– Chia seeds
– Slivered almonds

Instructions

4. This next step is optional; you could skip this and just roll the mixture into balls.

Otherwise, for an extra energy boost:
– Set up a tray and sprinkle with the optional desiccated coconut and Chia seeds.
– Form the processed mixture into balls, then roll the balls around the tray to pick up the coconut and Chia seeds. These ingredients should stick easily to these bliss balls.
– For a bit more crunch, stick the slivered almonds into the top. These won’t stick well, so you will need to poke them in a bit to hold.

2. Then, pour in the rice malt syrup while it continues to mix around.

Remember to keep these away from kids with nut allergies!

Best of luck to all starting a new school year!
