Welcome to Dino Diet: Alphabet Path! 🦖🦕 Learning beginning letter sounds is the absolute bedrock of early literacy. This game is specifically designed for Kindergarten and 1st-grade students to practice matching visual letters to the correct phonics picture.

To make it incredibly engaging, students get to take control of the narrative by choosing to play as a meat-eating T-Rex or a plant-eating Brachiosaurus!

How to Play:

  1. Choose Your Dinosaur: Click the orange button to play as the T-Rex (Carnivore), or the green button to play as the Brachiosaurus (Herbivore).

  2. Look at the Letter: On the game screen, a large target letter will appear (for example, “A“).

  3. Find the Picture: Look at the three pictures below. Which one starts with the letter A? (Apple, Banana, or Carrot?). Click the correct picture!

  4. Move Up the Path! Every time you pick the correct picture, your dinosaur will take a step forward. Answer 6 questions correctly to reach the end of the path and secure a meal!

Audio Support Included 🔊 If a student gets stuck or doesn’t know what a picture is supposed to be, they can click the “🔊 Hear Letter” button at the top to have the prompt read aloud to them. If they click the wrong picture, the game will gently correct them by telling them the name of the picture they clicked!

The Ultimate Champion Reward System 🏆 Every time your dinosaur reaches the end of the path, they collect a meal for their food stash! Students must complete 10 full rounds to fill up their tracker. Once they collect all 10 meals, they will trigger the Ultimate Champion finale, featuring falling confetti and a dancing dinosaur!
