When I came across this Mystery Math Town Educational App (preview in the video above) I got sooooooooo excited, because it is another fun and engaging way to get some math practice and integrate technology in the classroom! I will be buying this for my son when he is older, and if we are ever lucky enough to get ipads for all students to use, I will try and get this for the classroom too!

Math Live is packed with great TV like episodes in a cartoon format introducing many different math concepts. It is a great tool for 3rd6th grade teachers to use at the start of a new math unit. What’s great is that it is an engaging way to get students focused, while it introduces math concepts to show how math applies in everyday life. Give it a look and see what you think!
